Rewarding yourself for losing weight.

When advancing on your journey for weight loss or even healthy weight management it is important to know that occasionally you have to step back and also relax sometimes. Just like with your job or career, regardless if it is something that you enjoy or not, you work at your job Monday through Friday, and you have the weekend to relax.

It is the same thing with healthy weight management as well, you work on achieving your goals by having good nutrition all throughout the week, and then at the end of the week, you can enjoy that one “cheat meal” that you have been working for, or if you have achieved your milestone of losing say 30 or 40 pounds, and then taking a day off and having a “cheat day” so to speak.

Just keep in mind that when rewarding yourself, you are doing it for the right reasons. If your normal cheat meal is a pizza on a Saturday night, and you get invited to “the big game” and you end up having pizza and beer on Friday night, then make sure to adjust your day for your cheat meal that week. Another thing to keep in mind is that even though you are having a cheat meal, you are still on your weight loss journey, so be sure to keep your cheat meal in moderation.

Rewarding yourself for accomplishing something is part of a healthy lifestyle, and that is what this website and my goal as a wellness coach is here for to help you achieve.
